    The problem

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.

Many young women have the motivation to work, but not the practical training, portfolio, or network that helps them access digital income.

    A missing first step

Traditional routes into work can ask for experience before giving someone a chance to gain it.

    Skills without a bridge

Free online information is abundant, but structured practice and feedback are harder to find.

    Businesses need support

Small businesses need consistent social media help, yet often cannot afford a large agency.

    Income can start small

A practical digital service can become an accessible first step toward paid work and entrepreneurship.

    Who we serve

Start with one focused cohort. Build toward wider access.

The initiative is growing in stages so we can learn, measure outcomes, and expand responsibly with the right partners.

    Running now

Young women aged 18–25 in Ghana

Our first programme serves young women who are ready to learn, practise, and pursue income through social media management. No fees, no previous experience, and no expensive equipment are required to begin.

    8 weeks of guided training
    Practical portfolio projects
    Income and client-readiness support

    Planned — seeking partners

    Next stage

With additional funding and delivery partners, we plan to adapt the model for more young people who face barriers to traditional work.

    SHS leavers

Young people leaving senior high school who want a practical route into digital work before choosing their next step.

    Out-of-school youth

Young people who need flexible, income-focused training that connects learning to real small-business needs.

    Young people with disabilities

Learners who can benefit from accessible digital skills, flexible delivery, and a wider pathway to decent work.

    The programme

Eight weeks from confidence to capability.

Each phase combines clear teaching, guided practice, feedback, and a direct connection to the work businesses already need.

    Weeks 1–2

    1

    Build the foundation

Digital confidence, professional habits, social media fundamentals, and the role of a social media manager.

    Weeks 3–6

    2

    Practise the craft

Content planning, copywriting, design basics, platform strategy, analytics, and hands-on work for real businesses.

    Weeks 7–8

    3

    Turn skills into income

Portfolio building, client communication, pricing, proposals, interviews, and a plan for the first paid opportunity.
