The Digital Income Initiative
Privacy note
Last updated: September 2026
This note explains what GrowthSphere Digital collects when you apply to The Digital Income Initiative, why we collect it, how we protect it, and how you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
We collect the information you enter on the application form: your name, WhatsApp number, optional email address, region, town, age, gender, education level, current situation, income band, access to a smartphone and internet, previous paid social media experience, availability, motivation, and consent choices.
Why we collect it
We use this information to review applications, understand learner needs, plan a suitable cohort, contact applicants about the initiative, and measure programme outcomes responsibly. We will not use the information to make promises about acceptance or income.
How long we keep it
We keep application records for as long as reasonably needed to run the current cohort, communicate with applicants, and produce aggregate programme reporting. We review records periodically and delete information that is no longer needed, subject to legitimate operational or legal requirements.
Who can access it
Access is limited to authorised GrowthSphere Digital team members and trusted service providers who help us operate the application process. We do not sell applicant information. Optional media consent is separate from the consent required to process your application.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, withdraw permission for follow-up contact, or request deletion. To make a request, email digitalgrowthsphere@gmail.com with the subject “Initiative privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
